The brief was to create a calm and serene interior that was warm and welcoming. This was achieved by using a neutral colour palette and large sculptural furnishings with clean lines that are balanced by the layering and inclusion of South African/African art, textiles, beads, ceramics and lighting. These pieces celebrate African craftsmanship and add sensory richness without detracting from the clean, minimalstic aesthetic.
