FRANSCHHOEK SQUARE- Franschhoek 

The beautiful valley of Franschhoek has become a destination for speciality and high quality retail shopping, art, wine tasting, restaurants and coffee shops. FRANSCHHOEK SQUARE is located on the bustling main road (Huguenot Rd) with spectacular mountain views . The brief for this project was to design a structure to provide shade and a central seating and entertainment area for the galleries, restaurants and coffee shops which open out on the central courtyard. Our vision for the wave pergola was for the structure to be engulfed in masses of fragrant flowers and glossy leaves- offering much needed shade in the hot summer months and also framing the beautiful view of the mountains.
