Matter Design is an interior design studio based in Johannesburg that specialises in residential, hospitality, retail, branding and event design. 

Founded by Dominique Ronbeck in 2010, Matter Design is a studio that believes in bold design and a commitment to being innovative, socially conscious and honouring the preservation of  our natural resources. Dominique comes from an extended South African/Chilean family of vibrant, creative and hands-on problem solvers. This colourful mixture as well as a background in Fine Art, has shaped her outlook and influenced how she brings inspiration to every project. 

Working closely with clients and through cultivating a network of talented makers, craftspeople and suppliers, Matter Design aims to deliver projects with cultural depth and originality.
